The Ghana Team Arrives In Doha For The International Junior Science Olympiad 2019

The International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) is an annual individual and team competition in the Natural Sciences for students who are under sixteen years old on 31st December of the competition year. IJSO has been established in recognition of the significance of the Natural Sciences in the general education of young people and in all aspects of their lives. It is a purely educational event.

 

All Sciences Olympiad Foundation in partnership with the Ghana Education Service conducted selection exams at the Science Resource Center to select the brilliant students to participate in the International Junior Science Olympiad 2019.

Out of over 80 students, six students were selected to represent Ghana at this year’s Olympiad. The students were accompanied by four chaperons.

The name of the team that represented Ghana at this year’s Olympiad include Mr. Bernard Annan (Executive Director, All Sciences Olympiad Foundation) , Bennette Osae Addo, Richmond Annan, Ademide Adebanjo, Isaac Kofi Gyamfi, Rhodalyn Kurankye, Hilary Dautey, Elmer Seyram Amenyitor, Nathan Amankwah and Louise Ama Fenny.
The 2019 Edition of the International Junior Science Olympiad would take place in Doha, Qatar from the 3rd to 12th of December, 2019.
